On December 21, 2016, members from the Colton Police Officers Association arrived at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) to deliver toys, candy, and Christmas cheer to kids and families spending holidays in the hospital. Santa Claus made a special appearance, escorted by Colton Police throughout the hospital starting at the lobby, emergency department, and into the pediatrics unit.

Operation Giving is a holiday tradition of the Colton Police Officers Association. Each year, officers support families in need and senior citizen groups by delivering Christmas trees, meals, and presents.

Over 500 toys were donated by Next Generation Solutions on behalf of the National D.A.R.E. Program and the Colton Police Officers Association. These toys were wrapped and hand-delivered by uniformed officers, Santa Claus, and his elves throughout the entire hospital.
